The Flash Disk

There is 175k of non-volatile file storage available on the Twiddler. It is accessible only when the Twiddler is connected to your computer via USB. It should mount as a FAT formatted Removable Hard Drive. Both the Twiddler Config (4 x *.cfg) and Re-Chorded log (4 x *.log) files are stored on the root of this drive.

File Considerations

Twiddler Config Files

There are four (4) Twiddler Config files stored on the Twiddler 4

File NamePurpose
0.cfg Reserved - Default Config
1.cfg 1st custom config slot
2.cfg 2nd custom config slot
3.cfg 3rd custom config slot

When you create custom configs, copy them to the Twiddler. Do not overwrite 0.cfg as it is reserved for the factory default config and will be overwritten by the Twiddler.

Formatting the Flash Disk

There are times that you may wish to reformat the Twiddler's flash disk. This procedure is safe and will not affect the firmware on the Twiddler. Just remember to backup the data on the drive as formatting it will wipe it clean.

The drive must be FAT Formatted.
