Direct Key Mode was introduced in Version 15 of the Twiddler Firmware. Direct Key Mode makes the Twiddler act like a traditional keyboard sending both bounce and debounce states to the OS. In other words, you can now press a key and hold it.
This feature comes with a limitation: You can only use the front 12 keyboard keys when in this mode.
